Oonagh Werngren MBE, Operations Director for Oil and Gas UK and current President of the PESGB will give her insights into the key challenges facing the UKCS, how the PILOT agenda as been addressing key issues, and how the recently-published Wood Review will impact future activity.
Oonagh Werngren is Oil & Gas UK's Operations Director with responsibility for addressing operational issues in UK petroleum exploration, development, production and infrastructure.
With over 30 years of experience in the field of exploration and production, Oonagh has accumulated a wealth of cross industry experience leading subsurface, drilling, technology, development and supply chain organisations in Europe and Alaska, USA.
Prior to joining Oil & Gas UK, Oonagh was Business Manager at GDF SUEZ E&P where she was responsible for bringing a number of major UK and international developments to project sanction. Oonagh previously spent nine years at BP, in a variety of roles including Head of Technology for BP’s North Sea operations.
Oonagh has an MSc in Stratigraphy and was awarded an MBE in 2011 in recognition of her services to the oil and gas industry.
Oonagh is also the current President of the PESGB.
